Greetings all! Taking a vacation at the moment! I promise to return to routine postings when I return! Blessings everyone!
I have been away for so long! I’ve been very busy with company, kids, finishing up my Herbalist Course and working on getting my healing ministry of the ground! (I’ve been working on my website, as well, to check it out go to www.artsofavalonholistichealing.com ) I am so glad today to find a few minutes to return to the Tarot work that I so love!
Today we have a reading for someone experiencing power and control issues. In the top row we have the King of Swords, The Five of Swords and the Six of Coins. You must understand that taking that “win / lose” attitude with the people you love and care about is only going to cost you in the end. Is this really what you want for your relationships? To be considered, “Lord and Master” over all? What you really crave is not power, but love and you don’t get that by controlling people. That only pushes them away, which is what we see in the rest of the reading.
In the middle row we see the Knight of Cups and the Ten of Coins, and at the bottom we have the Six of Swords. The Knight of Cups indicates the emotional nature of this situation and also represents that person you are playing one upsmanship with. They aren’t going to take it forever. The Ten of Coins is about family, legacy, and building that lasting stability.
On the bottom we have the Six of Swords which is about movement from one place to another, sometimes metaphorically and sometimes actual physical movement, usually away from an intolerable situation in hopes of finding something better on the opposite shore. This says to me that your power games will not be tolerated forever, and this Knight is considering gathering up their resources and packing it in. Is this what you really want? Think about it.
Weekend Spread for December 18, 2015
Greetings everyone! I hope all is well! Today we have a reading for some industrious person working hard to become successful on a new path.
In the top row we have the Magician, the Two of Wands and the Hanging Man. The Magician is symbolic of many things, but primarily he is symbolic of having the power to determine your own destiny. Here we come to the fork in the road. Which path will you take? The Two of Wands indicates that you have a plan and that you are beginning to take the necessary steps to achieve your goal. The Hanging Man asks you what you are sacrificing to succeed.
In the middle row we see the Three of Coins and the Ace of Cups. It’s going to take a lot of work, but you will be putting your whole heart into it! Combined with the Hanging Man at the top, this Ace of Cups below may indicate that you are putting relationships on hold while you work at achieving this goal as well.
The Knight of Cups at the bottom has advice for you. If you tend to be an emotional person, now is the time to set the emotions aside and think clearly and rationally. If you are usually a very rational person, this may indicate that you need to look closer at your feelings around the whole situation. Drawing another card for clarification on the matter, we see the Two of Coins which indicates that you need to actually form a balance between the two.
Basically this spread looks like you’ve had your nose to the grindstone. You have been so focused on putting your plans into place and achieving success, that your relationships may begin to suffer. Are you willing to make that sacrifice? Balance is the key.
Blessings and good luck!
Weekend Spread for December 12, 2015
Somebody’s having a new baby! That’s what this reading has all over it!
In our top row we have the Star, the Empress and the Page of Cups. In short, that’s hope, motherhood, and new baby!
In the middle row we see a world of possibilities and challenges in the seven of cups and the inner strength that will be needed to meet those challenges.
The Four of Swords at the bottom says get your rest now because you are going to need it!
Good luck and Congrats!
I will be taking a break from posting the next couple of weeks. Gonna finish off the summer with a bang!
Will be back into routine soon.
Greetings all! Our reading today is for someone who looks rather disappointed with the way things are going career / money wise by the looks of it.
We begin with the King of Pentacles, The Five of Cups and the Queen of Swords. This king is the kind of guy who normally can turn anything into gold but that Five of Cups tells me that he just isn’t feeling that lately. The Queen of Cups is there to remind you that you grow wiser for your experiences. She’s smart, sassy, and doesn’t put up with much crap. She takes the hard knocks, learns from her experiences and moves on.
That Knight of Cups in the middle row is quite opposite to that Queen of Swords. He has a tendency to wallow somewhat in self-pity. The Seven of Wands is there to tell you to pull up your bootstraps and fight back! Just because you may find yourself with some stiff competition doesn’t mean you should just give up! That success we see in the Sun at the bottom of the spread is worth fighting for!
Greetings everyone! Good to be back! I’ve been crazy busy getting the Lost Goddess class up and running on Udemy, and finishing up my certifications for Holistic Health Practitioner. The class is finally finished and up and running! Yea! I am now one step away from Holistic Health Practitioner Certification. I’m also now working on a second class, for Crystal Reiki. I will let you all know when that is complete as well.
Below is a $20 off for summer coupon for the class for anyone interested!
Our reading today really looks like it’s about choices in a love relationship.
On the top we have the Knight of Wands, the Eight of Wands, and the Four of Swords. This Knight is charismatic and full of energy and all about action. He is bold and brave, but sometimes he is rash too. The Eight of wands is about communication and things happening quickly, and the Four of Swords is about taking a break. The Queen of Coins in the center row is a well-grounded, practical person, and the Lover’s often indicates not only a love relationship, but a choice.
This really feels to me like perhaps in this relationship things moved a little too quickly and now there is this need to take a step back and think about where you really are going with this. The Ace of Cups at the bottom is the Big Love Card. The love is definitely there, it’s all new and exciting but maybe a bit too much! Combine the rashness of this Knight, and all the love cards, I think the warning here is to take things a bit slower. The Queen of Pentacles is practical and level headed, these are the qualities you want to tap into when making choices about this relationship.
