Today we have a reading appropriate for the season. October is the month of the old celebration of Samhain and for many it is the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new cycle. This is what we see in the World Tree in the top row. With the ending of this cycle we see that there is much up and coming in the new cycle! No rest for the wicked!
The Eight of Wands symbolizes communication, either by phone, email, etc. Things are happening fast and there is lots to discuss! The Page of Swords is telling you to be clear headed and open to new ideas.
In the middle row we have the Page of Discs and the Underworld. One, is that with all of these new changes and the closing of a cycle, you are still making your own personal transitions during this time and you need to remain grounded and focused. Again it is appropriate that the Underworld should show up in a reading as this is the beginning of the dark time of the year when we naturally with draw from the world to take time to contemplate our lives, and do the inner work we need to do when facing our shadow selves. The Page of Coins in this deck has the keyword “health” which may indicate that for whoever this is, you may be facing some health issues during this time. Just remember, that in our society, we have a tendency to go against the natural flow of things, and over do things during the “holiday season”. Take things slowly and listen to that natural pull to go within. Then, like the Sun in the bottom row, you will have the energy to rise when the time comes!
Greetings everyone! Sorry I missed last week. One of those things that just couldn’t be avoided!
Anyway, I am back this week and have a message for someone who is definitely going through a life transition. In the top row we have the Seven of Wands, The Wheel, and the Four of Discs. This row is about someone who has had to fight their way to where they are now, and the Wheel of Fortune beside the Four of Coins indicates that you have been successful and that you are definitely at the top of your game. The warning here though is that money isn’t everything, and that things can change on a dime when that wheel of fortune begins to turn again.
Look at the middle row because this is where your truth lies. It’s nice to have that material stability, but not at the expense of your relationships. That Knight of Cups is there to remind you that when given a choice, remain true to your innate generous and open hearted nature. This is the true path to your higher and wiser self that we see in the High Priest at the bottom.
Blessings all and have a great weekend!
Today I decided it was time to bring out a different deck. This is my Sacred Circle Tarot and it’s just lovely!
So today I see someone who has finally brought a difficult situation to an end. Perhaps even bringing the end of a bad cycle. This is what is definitely reflected in the top row with the 10 of Swords, the Ace of Cups and the Green Man, which is analogous to the Fool in traditional decks. It’s finally over, and the great thing about that is how it makes you feel. It’s a completely fresh start, possibly even with a new love interest.
In the middle row we see the Nine of discs and the High Priestess. You’ve learned a great deal through the journey and now it is time to take stock of what those lessons were. Integrate them into who you are now, and as the last card indicates, the wisdom you have gained will give you the courage to move forward into this new territory.
Blessings and best of luck!
