Weekend Spread for May 29, 2015

Greetings everyone! Just a quick reading today as there is much work to be done!

I have one announcement before we get started. I am excited to say that I have scheduled the live, online class, The Lost Goddess: An Introduction to Rediscovering the Sacred Feminine Through Mythology for June 27 7pm central time. This class is a peek into the history of the Sacred Feminine as studied through the works of Joseph Campbell, Marija Gimbutus, Merlin Stone, and others. You can click on the link below for more information!

The Lost Goddess; Rediscovering the Sacred Feminine

The reading today is a simple three card reading but it is interesting. We have the Queen of Swords, The Six of Wands and the Ten of Coins.

The Queen of Swords is a smart, saavy and sassy woman. She knows the score and has gained her wisdom through the school of hard knocks. She’s caring but she doesn’t take any crap.

The Six of Wands is a card that is all about success, achieving victory and esteem.

The Ten of Coins is exactly what it looks like! This smart, saavy woman, whatever she’s doing, is going to be successful in her venture and make some money to boot! If that’s you, keep it up! All that hard work is finally going to pay off!

Blessings all, try to stay dry if you are down here in the wetlands like me, and if you are in the dry areas… well we’re trying hard to send some of this your way!

Weekend Spread for May 8, 2015

Greetings everyone! I hope you are all well!

Just a short cards only/no stones reading today as I’ve got to be off and running! I’m very excited to be leading the “Lost Goddess, an introduction to the Feminine Divine Through Mythology” workshop at the Houston Red Tent tomorrow, and equally excited to be offering this class  online in the near future. Enjoy today’s reading!

Weekend Readings for May 1, 2015

Greetings everyone! Glad to be back! Here are today’s readings for the weekend.

Here is a link for information about the Goddess Blodeuwedd, who is important in our stone reading today. Keep in mind that her story is quite typical of the demonization of Goddesses by the church during that time period. This tale is really a seasonal cyclical story with Llew representing the dying sun and Gronw representing the king during the winter months. Blodeuwedd has a strong feminist spirit. She won’t be “invented” by the patriarchy to simply fulfill the role of wife so that Llew can be crowned king. She is her own woman in charge of her own destiny.

At some point I will be presenting this workshop as an online class so that it will be available to all who wish to attend.

Blessings all!
