Weekend Spread for February 27, 2015

Greetings all! I hope you all had a good week!

Today I am looking at the Tarot only. I have purchased a new cloth for stone readings, one with a symbol which I can connect to and when I began working with it, I realized I also need to rework my stones and symbolisms into a different system as well. It’s been exciting and creative work for me and I hope to unveil it soon!

Today we have a curious reading! Definitely one for someone who is beginning a new project in hopes of establishing some financial security. There is lots of energy to this reading that indicates to me that this person has a great deal of drive.

In the top row we have the Ten of Discs, the Ace of Discs and the Ace of Swords.  Aces always indicate newness and creativity. The Ten of Discs represents two things, one, is wealth, success, security and the other is tradition as indicated in the keyword. Having these three cards together in the top row says to me that in order to move forward we need to look at things in a new and fresh way. Sometimes this mean breaking with tradition. The Knight of Swords in the middle row grasps that sword of truth and clarity and hacks away at the old regime to make way for bold new ideas! The keyword for this card as you can see is Change. You are that knight, that bringer of change, and the Six of Wands beside you says you have the confidence to make this happen (Once more into the breach!) The keyword at the top of the Six of Wands is Success. You will be successful in your endeavors however, there is a warning in the Five of Swords at the bottom of this reading, especially when we combine the meanings of the Six of Wands and the Five of Swords. Beware of arrogance and overconfidence. Nobody likes a sore winner. That Knight of Swords can be a bit of a bully too so just be mindful not to cut down those around you in your quest to be top dog. Those people are often your support system and without them you won’t be standing on top for long.

Blessed weekend all!
