Greetings everyone. I hope you had a good weekend. Today we have a reading that has two basic themes running through it. The first is truth and justice and the other is resources, having and not having them.
We see in the top row that we have the Empress card in the same position she was in last week. This time she is flanked by Justice on the left and the Two of Swords on the right. In both of these cards the characters are drawn blindfolded. Justice because it is blind and what goes around comes around. There is nothing you can do about it, it is simply the natural state of affairs. The Two of Swords is a different story however. This card is about choosing to remain blind because you would rather not see. It’s about being so caught in the middle of something that you are frozen, not knowing what to do. Sometimes when that happens we’d rather close our eyes or look the other way because we would rather it would all just go away. Where the Justice card can be about preparation for making a decision, (looking thoroughly and weighing the pros and cons before jumping in with both feet) the Two of Swords is about the inability to make decisions. However, our next card in the middle row is the Ace of Swords. See also how this Ace is directly under the Justice card. This is about Truth and Justice in its purest form. It is time now to take off the blindfold and see the situation for what it truly is and making things right.
Justice is also about taking responsibility and paying old debts and with the Six of Coins right there I’d say the only way to settle this score is to pay up. The other thing about the Six of Coins however is that it can sometimes symbolize not having the resources you need. This is where the King of Coins comes in. Steady, practical and reliable he might be willing to help you but you will owe him. This is what the Six of Coins is like, it’s that balance between having and not having and borrowing and owing. We see the scales in the Justice card and in the Six of Coins. Regardless of how you go about it, the scales need to be balanced and they will be one way or another.
