Daily Tarot for December 2, 2013

Greetings all! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday! Now it’s time to get back into SOME semblance of routine before Christmas. (…If that’s possible.)

Today we begin with the Queen of Cups who represents being in touch with the emotions, trusting your heart, being sensitive and having respect for feelings.

We now pair this with the Eight of Cups, a card about moving on, or letting go.

On top of this for more clarification, I through down a Six of Cups can often represent feeling nostalgic.

The last card is  the Magician, and he is about taking power and control over your own life, and realizing that you shape your own destiny.

In this grouping I would say that we are moving through a period of being in touch with our emotions and sifting through our memories.  Our experiences become part of who we are. We can revisit them from time to time but we do need to walk away and leave them in the past in order to move ahead. If we can fully integrate these  experiences into our beings then we become the fully realized and empowered Magician who lives a life of authenticity.  It’s that old adage that what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger…

  1. That’s a lot of cups. Maybe the hidden message is, “If you want to get in touch with your emotions and move on without getting too nostalgic, particularly during the holiday season, fill all those cups up with an adult beverage and get after it. Preferably with a Queen.”

  2. Ellen says:

Perhaps this is about reminiscing over Christmases past watch out not to let the expectations run to high. Just feel the love and at the same time be a magician in the kitchen 🙂
