Daily Tarot for November 7, 2013

Greetings all,

How did everyone do yesterday? I hope that situation was not as bad as it appeared in the cards, and that truth prevailed without too many feelings being hurt.

Today we have a spread that is all about stability. We have the King of Pentacles, and two fours which represent strength and power in stability.

The King of Pentacles tell you to act in the manner in which he would act. He is dependable, reliable and gets a job  done.  He’s enterprises and successful at whatever he puts his mind to because he works hard and expects to succeed.  He is steady and reliable, keeps his word and his commitments.

The four when applied to the suit of cups what happens is that we have a leveling off of that initial feeling of romantic excitement that we first experience in the ace, two and three. It can mean feeling a bit of a let down or anti climax, or perhaps just a bit of boredom now that all the excitement is over. Kind of what you feel when Christmas is over.  It can also mean you art taking a bit of time out to rest, and contemplate before moving on to the next phase of something.

4-cupsll

When four is applied to the suit of wands what we have is a celebration of a goal achieved, it is often not the end of the quest, but the first steps completed along the way.

4-wandsll

What this reading tells me is that the King of Pentacles has been hard at work on some project, it’s well underway, taking a small break to celebrate a milestone achieved in the initial stages is a good thing but don’t stop, there is more to go (see the hidden cup up in the trees), more to go, more to achieve, more gifts to receive and eventually more celebrating once the quest is complete. Act like this King who looks at the whole picture, envisions success at the end of the venture, pick yourself up off the ground, dust yourself off and keep moving!

Blessings,

Miria

  1. Sounds like Ol’ King Pentacles is talking about your Nanowrimo novel.
