Greetings all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend full of tricks and treats and didn’t get sick on too much candy.
We’ve got some cards today that make a curious mix.
First we have the Hierophant. The Hierophant in this deck is depicted as a priest in front of beautiful stain glass window; he is wearing his entire priestly garb. The Hierophant represents formal education in structured environments, he is about learning with experts such as teachers, professors, counselors, and perhaps even an actual priest. He is about knowledge and learning imparted in a formal way by an guide who may sometimes even be considered a “wounded healer”, someone who’s been there and knows the ropes and can offer advice. He can also represent the need to conform to the established rules and regulations. On the darker side this can be stifling depending on the situation. Interestingly, the Hierophant can also represent marriage.
The next card we have is the ten of cups which represents joy, peace and harmony in a situation, particularly in the home environment, either that is present, or one is working towards that goal.
In the nine of wands however, we find that exhausted soldier who has persevered for so long.
If you have been striving for a long time for family harmony, keeping it all together and running smoothly is now beginning to drag you down. Perhaps you are someone who has everything, marriage, children, and seemingly happy home life, but it’s become exhausting to maintain it. Either way, you’ve been a hero but now it’s time now to seek professional help so that you can be more effective in carrying that load.
