Daily Tarot for October 14, 2013

I LOVE this card! This has to be one of my favorite cards of this deck! Today we have the Fool, as symbolized by Peredur, better known as Percival from King Arthur legends. We saw this card come up in one of the Weekend Spread readings.

The reason I love this card is because it is so different from the Fool in most decks. Usually the fool is portrayed as walking precariously close to a cliff oblivious to any danger because he’s not looking where he’s going, and so finds his destiny by accident. Peredur on the other hand is a card of determined action! He’s not waiting around for fate; he’s actively seeking his destiny with vigor and enthusiasm! He doesn’t know what’s on the other side of that gorge, but by golly he’s going to find out!

So often we just sit back and let life happen to us, what kind of adventures might we be missing by living this way? So today, let’s take a great leap of faith! Try something new and outside of our comfort zones, walk on the wild side for a while! It’s a brand new day, lets SEIZE IT!

  1. What deck is this? It’s beautiful.

  2. It’s dental implants (2) kind of day. Which I’d have to say is a Peredur sort of day for sure.
